About Southwold

Southwold is a delightfully unspoiled seaside town on the Suffolk Heritage Coast.
There is lots to do for all ages with its award-winning Southwold Pier, busy working harbour, the lighthouse and of course its famous beach huts.  Southwold would not be Southwold without Adnams Brewery and its Cellar and Kitchen shop is well worth a visit, together with their popular Brewery and Distillery Tours.
Southwold is also close to other charming Suffolk towns such as Beccles, Halesworth and Framlingham, and for classical music lovers there is Aldeburgh and The Snape Maltings.
For bird watchers there is Dunwich Heath and the RSPB reserve at Minsmere just a few miles down the coast.
For an exhilarating boat trip visit the Coastal Voyager based at Southwold Harbour.

Just ten miles north of Southwold is Africa Alive - Suffolk's own African Animal Adventure.

If you're seeking a thrilling day out pay a visit to Pleasurewood Hills - just twelve miles north of Southwold, the other side of Lowestoft.  Or try Great Yarmouth Pleasure Beach if you like candy floss and donkey rides.
